Joel and Yas own and run Good Pickings Market Garden - a separate small business from the main farm - on an acre of land rented from Babbinswood Farm, on which we are growing fruit and vegetables organically, to sell locally. We work closely with Babbinswood Farm, talking through growing and land management techniques, as well as planning our season with them at the forefront of our minds, to ensure what we do is as mutually beneficial to both parties as possible. We also get a significant quantity of our farm inputs, such as lovely rich, organic cow manure from Babbinswood Farm to fertilise our growing space with.
